he has rimmed out both of the exterior doors(one of them was installed in 2004 and the other in 2007), built us a beautiful big bedroom closet and installed the rods and shelves, built drawers for my craft area cabinets, and finished up a handful of other little odds and ends that needed to be done.

now i have been doing my part, but really only because he is pushing me along.  this is like bizarro world at our house. i am usually the one pushing him to get his part done, not the one who would rather curl up with a book on the couch instead of working…..

life is strange sometimes.

doesn’t get much better than that……Oh yeah I forgot to mention that E decided to use some of his free time to weed in my front flower beds…..what a doll child he can be when he wants.  i payed him $2 for helping with out being asked….it was worth it as i ABHOR weeding.

Andrew is beautiful.  he has a perfectly shaped head, and he got the nose fat roll that Sam had when she was born….so cute.  he almost makes me regret or decision not to have any more kids.

E at 3 years old

while driving down the road one day my little E was making faces and funny noises, so i looked over my shoulder at him and said: “E your so crazy”, he immediately responded.  “momma, i’m not crazy, i’m just a little unwell…i know momma right now you can’t tell…”

that song (by Matchbox 20) had been playing on the radio, and apparently it struck a chord for my little guy.  it was just so cute to hear that come out of his mouth.

thank you Lord for life, we know you give it and you take it away in your time.  thank you for Andrew and the blessing of his life. you are the creator of all, you move your hand and mountains form, you are Lord God Almighty and we praise Your Name.

1.  my sil Bonnie is due to have her 3rd baby today.  she is very ready for this boy to make an appearence so if you could remember her for the next couple of days that would be awesome.

2.  i need to find a greater measure of grace for those i interact with in my job situation.  i am finding myself to be very harsh in my judgements of clients and the things they dare to request.  i need to find a softer spot with in me that can shrug it off and go on about my day instead of dwelling on it and being frustrated by it.  i need to find this before i start responding to these people in a harsh manner.

all he talked about the whole way home was “this girl” says this, and “that girl” did that.  and now it’s, “can i spend time on facebook?”, “i need to send a message to “this girl”", or” “that girl” gave me her phone number”.

WHATS a mom to do?  i always thought this transition from boy to teen would happen gradually, but we just got slammed into in by a week of camp.  i do think it’s really cute though.

i feel blessed when we are able to bless others by allowing them to use the pool when we are not around, come again any time.

this weekend she has offered our family the use of her “cabin in the woods”.  i am so looking forward to spending time with J and the boys up there, tromping through the woods, making smores over the open fire, grilling steaks and veggies, playing games, and relaxing with a good book.  thank you L, and thank you Lord for putting me in this perfect fit job.  i am blessed beyond measure.

there’s always tonight…you say.  i can only hope that i will be motivated tonight to get the housed somewhat picked up before my little friend Lauren arrives for a visit.  that is the new goal, get the house presentable before Deb drops off Lauren.  I think I can handle that one.

yes today i am thankful for my boys.  (i am also thankful for a job that helps provide for my family)
