today i am thankful for children who love each other and enjoy being together. the boys are alone together a lot now that summer break has begun, and it does my heart good to hear that they are having fun during the day. for example, today they called me to say that they were going to ride their bikes over to the HS athletic fields and play tennis. tomorrow they have a trip to the library planned. what more could a working mom (who secretly wants to be a stay at home mom but knows that right now it is not possible) ask for. sure they have their fair share of fights and squables, but when it comes right down to it, they are the others best friend.
yes today i am thankful for my boys. (i am also thankful for a job that helps provide for my family)
